I would like to say a big thankyou to every one for all their king thoughts, telephone calls and get well cards which I received after my Heart Attack, I’m home now after having two stents placed in my heart and making steady progress back to full health. Thanks to all my friends, this is the time you realise; we are part of a great club, one extended family.

CAN I PURCHASE A HANDBOOK AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Some of the most recent handbooks are available to view in the Explorer Group Handbooks section. Printed copies can also be purchased at a cost of £15.00.

We can accept payment by credit or debit card and you should contact us by telephoning 01207 699 000 and ask for Customer Services.

Alternatively please send a cheque made payable to "The Explorer Group Ltd" to Customer Services, The Explorer Group, Explorer House, Delves Lane, Consett, Co Durham, DH8 7PE.

Your covering letter should give details of your caravan including the VIN/Conversion number and your name/address to which we will post your handbook. Please be advised that original handbooks are not always available and you may receive a photocopy.

Tyre Alert

Please see the photographs (below) sent by Derek Pedder of the tyres on his caravan. They are Hankook tyres as supplied with his caravan. The tyres are 20 months old and despite their being plenty of tread they are in an extremely dangerous condition. Both tyres exhibited the same problem and Derek is anxious that fellow members check their caravan tyres before going out in their caravan again.

If anyone finds similar problems please contact Martin Hill.
