ANSWERS

Q1. What do we do on our rallies?

Every rally is different. Sometimes a rally will be arranged to provide a base for members attending some event like the NEC Caravan Show. Other rallies are just to provide a quiet weekend in the country. Members attending rallies are free to participate in any organised activity or not as they choose. All that we ask is that you let us know if you are not joining in so we don't hold up proceedings waiting for you. No-one will ever come knocking on your caravan door to ask why you are not line-dancing / kite-flying / whatever.

Q2. Can I put up a tent for someone to sleep in on a rally?

This is a complex one. The general answer is NO. This is not just churlishness on our part, but is the result of our legal obligations. Click HERE for a full explanation

Q3. Why do you never run rallies in (Dorset/Rhyl/Wherever)?

Unlike other rallying clubs, we do not start off each year with a 'grand plan' of where we will hold rallies. Rallies are held where members want to run them. The Club's Committee will provide help and assistance in providing the rally marshal with the things he needs and in publicising the year's rallies, but the final decision to run any rally rests with the member who wants to run it. So, if there is no rally in Dorest/Rhyl/wherever this year it is because nobody volunteered to run it. Why don't you run it next year?

Q4. Where on the 'NET can I find information about used Elddis caravans.?

Unfortunately there is no single resource for used caravan information. Our Specification pages have details of quite a few models but are not complete. The Explorer-Group's website only deals with current models.
